Cup - Penlake v Eagle

Well this was it the next round of the cup, win this one and we are into the Quarterfinals. Standing in our way, a game against Penlake B a team we have played some 3 times and never been able to beat was this to be our day.

Winwick v Eagle

It had been a long break between our last game which was played before Christmas and today. We faced top of the table Winwick Athletic, and knew this was going to be a tough game.

Garswood v Eagle

After last week’s brilliant performance against Winwick, we had another tough encounter away to Garswood, a team fighting for the top spot of the league table.

Today we played Winwick Athletic top of the table and knowing that Winwick beat Parkdale 5-1 we knew this was going to be a tough game.

Birchwood v Eagle

After last weeks game being cancelled we couldn’t wait to get going this week but had to wait as we had a late kick off.

Eagle 1-2 Appleton

Well the boys had to pick them selves up after the disappointing result away to Appleton Boys last week only drawing 2-2 I feel 2 points lost more than 1 point gained.

Eagle 3-2 Parkdale Sidac

Prior to kick off, Dave, Stuart and Ian gave the lads the great team talk, after the poor defeat last week the lads needed to pull themselves together, work as a team and be more committed to the game.

Eagle v Earlestown

Due to unforeseen circumstances the game kicked off late and had to be reduced to 20 min each way.

Parkdale Sidac v Eagle JFC - 30/09/07

Parkdale started well putting us under a little pressure from the start with most of the possession from the left and creating some goal scoring chances.
